WE WERE ALL MERELY DEAD
As the war came to an end with the smoke dancing in the sky, sparks of the flames surrounded the land, which was once a peaceful and quiet land. On the hills, where the machine guns, all smoked by those firing. Ammo dying out, being choked by dead grasses.
There were no more flowers. No more trees. No more living beings.
All merely dead and the fragments of terrorising memories.
But yet, the air was still alive, whistling through the raging flames that began to die alongside blood on the land.
Air fought like a medical nurse aiding during the fights in the war, treating a dying soldier like flames.
One by one, a flame collapsed, then another. Then once more.
The bodies of those once humans, dead grasses slowly engulfing them.
They flapped their wings, a group of crows fled above the warfare that had chosen to cease.
Their whines echoed across the land, the noises of suffering like those soldiers as they marched through the fields.
As sparks of fire quietly fell down, The sky returned to its color; sky blue.
Soldiers were frozen in time: they fell to the ground while protecting their home.
Blood drying up, gradually.
As the time continued, in complete silence. A single poppy grew from a puddle of blood.
What may that mean to fight for the land, to be burdened with lasting duties, knowing there will be fatal consequences?
Were we to be heroes, or were we simply to be fools who ran with a gun?
The poppy, as it is still being worn as our pride and honor for our soldiers, you may wonder, why do we fight for what our leaders say?
Gunfires, the splash of blood from the chest to the ground, and there was a loud sound of exploding that may blind our only eyes that we had become so dependent on?
Our hands were rough and harshed, tightened its grip on guns. Not out of bravery but out of terror for what comes next.
Is it worth it for the innocents if we died, not in arms of our lovers, families and friends but in arms of another scared soldier and nurses.
We were called to be numbed so we fought our way out. Blood on our hands, it only brings fragments of terrible memories.
We were all merely dead, we were no longer humans, we were working machines with guns and desire to defend our lands.
We were all merely dead.

GLORY ANGELS
High on the clouds, there is no emptiness in the hearts. The trumpets are blown and sounded, the bows fired away from the skies of lightness.
At the heart of the solitude, where the darkest hands could not reach. We, what we all think, the nerving of our swords crashing with shining lights. Our tranquility breaks slowly as we stand and wait for the seventh sound to blow.
We waited for howling from below that crawled to reach us. There was no barrier; just us and our swords in the way of us.
Frightening beings fell to their knees and prayed upon seeing conflicts, when the fires marched and consumed their lives, and the red lake spread across the seas. They asked our higher, “Why do we stuffer,” the higher replied, “You have a free will, I have given you free will. And free will, which will never be painless.”
They cursed the higher, saying he is selfish, an immortal who turned the true living beings into puppets.
We shook our heads, we knew those will not be living until the kingdom comes. We looked up to the higher ones, we had the hope in our eyes.
Higher looked down: “May I be he, or she, I am not in a way to control their lives.”
“Some states I have favorites. Some praise me. Some turn their back to me, this is their righteous free will, I have no way to manipulate such things.”
We stood in front of the higher, our arms that the beings may have declared as unnatural, and our fears rising up in our throats.
Even in the darkest times, there is always a light of hope whereas in the light, there is no dark at all; we fought to defend what is good for our lord.
And we pleaded with the clouds to not give them a second chance after those on the corrupted lands murdered and tortured our saviours. Yet clouds still do, they gave the corrupted a single chance to chase after dazzling wings.
A trumpet has been blown, the walking, shifted to running.
We roared, clenching on the swords and our bodies straining when dark, taller and sharp figures hovered at us, their horns tall and long.
Their yellow and sharp teeth flashed at our glory eyes.
Their claws cutting through the fleshes.
We witnessed our saviour walking in a world, a corrupted place and filthy humans who torment our higher.
We understood, we were to witness the testimony of humanity and we assessed those.
Now, will they sit and have a meal with higher or, be burned away in the darkest place.
The Judgment Day has come.
And the darkest figures, the demons.
They wanted revenge, for us to take the purest humans away from their hands.
“Why shall we give the ones who have done no wrong.” We whined.
Their claws raised, prepared, and their eyes staring through our blessed souls.
We understood, we were to witness the testimony of humanity and we assessed those.
And the evil will not accept the laws.
We are the glory angels with such eyes to witness everything.
